Sunflowers, and Memories of the Future

I’ll see you again at the end of yesterday

With a smile and maybe a glitter of stardust

Coming down from the bottom of my eyes

Are the bittersweet taste of nostalgia

I’ll see you again in the unknown

With lingering hope of the memories

Left behind under the scorching heat of summer sun

Is the heavy feeling of unexpected farewell

I’ll see you again maybe in the past

With the fear of what future might bring

Floating away to the far shore of destiny

Is us, not knowing where to stand after the long due reunited present
